Student Grants

The following student grants (pre-postdoc level) are available. These grants entail waived conference registration and additional financial support of 333.- Euro

  • four ECA Greifswald student grants for all research fields and for members of the ESA
  • one AraGes student grant for research in the field of biodiversity
  • one Laudier student grant for research in the field of morphology

Please send your application to ecauni-greifswaldde in one pdf file until 15th of May 2022.

With this file you supply:

  • Information on which grant you apply for
  • your CV
  • proof of student status
  • a description of your work and the relevance of the conference to your work
  • an abstract of the poster or talk that you intent to present

ECA Greifswald student grants: Grants are awarded only to student members of the ESA. If you are currently not a member of the society you need to become one until the beginning of the conference and send proof to the organizers. The applications are selected by the scientific committee of the conference based on clear goals/hypothesis and convincing project design.

AraGes student grant: Grants are awarded only to student members of the AraGes. If you are currently not a member of the society you need to become one until the beginning of the conference and send proof to the organizers. The applications are selected by the scientific committee of the conference based on clear goals/hypothesis and convincing project design in the field of biodiversity.

Laudier student grant: This grant is sponsored by Laudier Histology. The applications are selected by Laudier Histology and the organizer based on clear goals/hypothesis and convincing project design in the field of morphology with a focus on histology or similar methodology.


BAS - Ted Locket Grants

For members of the British Arachnological Society, the Society offers grants to assist with travel and other expenses relating to attendance at a conferences.
